Privacy
This page describes what athenaautomate.ai collects, why, where it is kept, which outside services handle it, and how to ask us to remove it. The site is run by Athena Automation LLC, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Giveaway applications
When you apply for the free website or the free automation, we keep:
- every answer you give on the application, including your name, email address, mobile phone number, and business details;
- whether you ticked each consent box, the exact wording of each box, and the date and time you applied;
- the campaign tags on the link that brought you to the site, if it had any (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and utm_content).
We use this to judge your application, to contact you about it, and to email you about our services, as the consent box on the application says. We call or text you about our other services only if you ticked the separate, optional box.
Applications are kept in our Postgres database. They have no automatic deletion date; an application stays until we remove it.
After you apply, we send you one confirmation email through Resend, and we send our team a Slack message with your business name, city, industry, the campaign name from your link, and a short summary of your answers. That Slack message does not include your email address or phone number.
To limit repeated submissions, we count applications per network address and per email address over an hour. The count is kept against a one-way scrambled form (a SHA-256 hash) of each, not the address itself.
Other forms, the chat and our phone lines
- The request form on the home page asks for your name, email, phone, business, city, industry, website, and a message. We keep it in our Postgres database for 90 days and post it to our team's Slack. To research your business and choose a reply, we send your business name, city, website, industry, and message to Anthropic, but not your name, email address, or phone number. The reply email is sent through Resend.
- The chat sends the messages you type to Anthropic, which writes the replies. If you filled in the home page form first, the details you entered there, including your name, email address, and phone number, go to Anthropic with your messages. The chat may also look up your business's website, from your business name or the domain of your email address, and pass what it finds to Anthropic. To limit abuse, we count chat requests per network address using a SHA-256 hash of the address.
- The business-owner quiz keeps your quiz session in a Redis database for up to 30 days, and your result for up to 180 days. If you give your contact details at the end, we store them with your result in our Postgres database and post them to our team's Slack, and we may send you a follow-up email through Resend.
- Our phone lines. Calls to +1 (702) 710-4071 are answered by a voice agent run on xAI; the details you give are stored in our Postgres database and posted to our team's Slack. Calls to +1 (442) 266-5467 are answered by a receptionist run on Vapi, which posts the details you give to our team's Slack.
Analytics and what your browser stores
Most pages load Google Analytics 4 from googletagmanager.com, which records page visits. On those pages, Google Analytics stores two cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_5QBHQMTGJT, so it can tell one visitor's visits apart from another's. They can last for more than a year unless you clear them. When you submit a form, we send Google Analytics the kind of form, the page, your industry, whether you gave a phone number, and the campaign tags from your link, never your name, email address, phone number, or the text you typed. The business-owner quiz also tells Google Analytics how far you got and which result you received.
Many pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and icons from unpkg.com, and some show photos from Pexels, Unsplash, and Bannerbear, so your browser contacts those services.
The site saves a few things in your own browser, not on our servers:
- for the length of your visit (session storage): the campaign tags from the link you arrived on; a code that stops a form you resend from being counted twice; and, after you apply for a giveaway, your first name and business name so the thank-you page can show them;
- until you clear it (local storage): your light or dark theme choice, the details you entered in the home page form so the chat can use them, and your business-owner quiz progress.
The cookies set for athenaautomate.ai are the two Google Analytics cookies above, on pages that load Google Analytics, and a sign-in cookie for the partners area, set only when a partner signs in. Outside services the pages contact can also set cookies for their own web addresses: the service that delivers Pexels photos sets short-lived cookies for pexels.com, and Google may set its own for its analytics service. Your browser may block those.
Where it all runs
The site and its forms run on Vercel. The outside services named above are Vercel, Resend (email), Slack (our team's notifications), Anthropic (the chat and home page research), xAI and Vapi (the phone lines), Google (analytics and fonts), unpkg.com (icons), and Pexels, Unsplash, and Bannerbear (photos).
